Lung cancer has the highest prevalence worldwide, and has an important prognostic role in patients with advanced breast cancer. It is defined as the presence of a high incidence of cancer that may develop within the first few years of life and is associated with long-term mortality and disease progression (). However, the incidence of lung cancer in Europe and the United States remains relatively high. In Europe, about one-third of all breast cancer cases were seen in the year 2000, and the median age at the time of diagnosis was approximately 35 years. In this study, we investigated the use of Nexium as adjuvant therapy in the treatment of lung cancer in patients with operable breast cancer. We performed a retrospective study of the literature review on patients with operable breast cancer in the UK, with a mean age of 66 years old and a mean cumulative cancer incidence of 10.6/100,000 people per year.
This retrospective study was conducted from May to October 2003, from the database of the UK National Health Service (NHS). We included all patients who had a first- or second-line treatment for breast cancer diagnosed between 2000 and 2005 in the UK and had a first-line therapy for a second-line therapy in the USA. We also included patients who received first- or second-line treatment in the USA, who had undergone a first-line therapy in the EU or in the UK, and who had had an invasive breast cancer. This study used the National Health Service’s cancer registry database, which collects information about cancer patients from the NHS.
The total cumulative cancer incidence increased from 1.2/100,000 people per year in 2000 to 2.9/100,000 people per year in 2005, with an annual incidence rate of 1.9/100,000 people per year. The average age at diagnosis was 67.4 years old, and the median age at the time of diagnosis was 55.8 years. Patients with operable breast cancer were more likely to have undergone a first-line treatment, and patients who received a second-line treatment were more likely to have had a second-line treatment, than patients who received a first-line treatment. Patients with an invasive breast cancer who were older than 55 years had a median annual incidence rate of 4.8/100,000 people per year, while patients who had undergone a first-line treatment were less likely to have a second-line treatment. A higher proportion of patients who had invasive breast cancer had been diagnosed with operable breast cancer in the previous year (15.1%) than those who had had invasive breast cancer in the previous year (12.9%).
This study showed that the use of Nexium for adjuvant treatment is effective in the treatment of breast cancer in patients with operable breast cancer. It is important to note that the use of Nexium for adjuvant treatment of breast cancer in patients with operable breast cancer is not without risk, and it is associated with high mortality, with a mean annual incidence rate of 1.9/100,000 people per year in the USA.

Talk to your doctor if you are taking any other medications, including other proton pump inhibitors (omeprazole, rabeprazole, lansoprazole, pantoprazole), ciclosporin, and other immunosuppressants.
This is a medicine; Consult your doctor, pharmacist, or pharmacist if you are using this medicine to treat reflux or heartburn, acid regurgitation, gastric bleeding, ulcers, stomach pain, or stomach inflammation. Nexium Control should not be used in the treatment of erosive colitis or the signs and symptoms of esophagitis.
Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur:
Dizziness or lightheadedness may occur. In some children, a greater than 1kg fall on body weight may occur. If the 1kg weight loss is not serious, you may take another medicine containing esomeprazole or other proton-pump inhibitors (omeprazole or other proton-pump inhibitors, lansoprazole or other pantoprazole).
Kidney problems can be treated in 50-75% of patients.
Take Nexium Control as directed. You may experience relief in less than a day. If you forget to take a tablet, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is almost time for your next dose.
Do not take more than one dose of this medicine in 24 hours. If you are taking Nexium Control for heartburn, make sure to follow your doctor’s instructions carefully.
Swallow the tablet whole with water, with or without food. The tablet should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. The tablet should not be chewed.
Do not drink alcohol while taking this medicine. It can cause side effects.
